Each of our well-equipped, self-catering chalets sleeps up to six people. Or for a larger group, ask us to unlock your chalets’ inter-leading door giving you all access to big double unit. These larger double units will then accommodate a group or family of up to twelve to enjoy the party together!

National Open Water Swim Competition: This highlight of our season of open water swim events takes place in April at Albert Falls Dam.

Siyashosholoza Picnic: In 2012 DJ Show created the Siyashosholoza entertainment concept, promoting a lifestyle of unity. We host one of these funky and hot musical picnics each year in October.

Ozzie Gladwin Canoe Marathon: Your waterside chalet gives you a prime spot for watching the action in the 4km flat-out race across Albert Falls Dam during this premier one-day, SA canoe race each November. With a total distance of 26km of testing paddling and portaging, it launches KZN’s summer river-racing season dramatically.

Fezela Canoe Marathon: Staged in mid-January at a critical point in the KwaZulu-Natal Canoe Union calendar when paddlers are peaking their training schedules for the Dusi Canoe Marathon, this also serves as one of the Dusi’s final seeding events. Using both the water and the banks around the dam, this offers enough distance to test the paddlers, some serious portages to condition them for the Dusi and thrills aplenty for spectators.
