About Us
Located 12 km (10min drive) outside Nelspruit is the beautiful world renowned Chimpanzee Sanctuary Chimp Eden on the Uhmloti reserve. This Jane Goodall Institute offers a home to 34 chimpanzees that have been rescued from horrible circumstances.
We offer you a stay in a unique location! Since we are situated about a 5km drive off the R40. It is an excellent base for day visits to Kruger, Sudwala caves, Perry's Bridge reptile park, Elephant sanctuary, Botanical Garden, Panorama route, Swaziland and many other great places.
With our wendy huts accommodation we offer 2 simple but clean twin cabins with their own restroom (toilet, sink and shower) and 2 twin ensuite cabins. The clean cabins are within a lovely garden fenced off with bamboo, which gives you privacy. Breakfast is included and can be enjoyed whilst overlooking our chimpanzee enclosures and the beautiful landscape. One chimpanzee tour per person per night stay is included.
The communal kitchen, which is on site, offers a washing machine and fridge, microwave, 2 plate stove with small oven. Self- catering is possible and braai's are allowed. Our restaurant offers basic meals from 8am- 4pm. Our gift shop is open from 8am-4pm.
