About Us
Glen Afric Country Lodge is situated only 20min from Pretoria and 40min from Johannesburg. Nestled in the North-eastern corner of the Cradle of Human Kind and the Magaliesberg Biosphere, Glen Afric is surrounded by ancient heritage.
With good links from O.R Thambo and Lanseria airports, you can leave the hustle and bustle of daily life and find yourself in the bushveld, with stunning views of the Magaliesberg Mountains - A truly magical place!
Open to both day visitors and residents guests, you can celebrate the wild by enjoying a bush game drive, elephant interaction, a walk with elephants, a hilltop sundowner, or simply sit on the deck and watch the wildlife go by.
The Lodge also boats an a-la-carte restaurant, bar, swimming pool, library, Tv lounge and curio shop.
Glen Afric is home to the wild at heart television series and guests can view the homestead where filming took place.
Spacious rooms featuring spectacular views are the perfect place for those seeking a romantic get-away luxurious cottages overlooking the hippo pools provide a place for families to reconnect. For those who need a quick stay, our units can be your place of slumber.
Please note that some of our units are a distance from the main lodge, so having your own transport is advisable.
