About Us
Impact Adventure Africa operates from Moganwe Bush Camp, between the valleys of Broederstroom, surrounded by beautiful nature. We are nestled in indigenous South African Bush on the banks of the tranquil Moganwe River.
Impact Adventures are just 35 km away from Johannesburg and Pretoria and one hour’s drive from Oliver Tambo International Airport. There are many stories regarding the meaning of the word Moganwe; many say, “it means friendly”. That is what we offer. We offer a combination of friendly, beauty and excitement where both adventurers and nature lovers meet.
River Rafting allow you to overcome your fear of water in a fun and exciting way. Visit Impact Adventure Africa and experience a guided river rafting trail with a group of family or friends.
Now offering trails on the Jukskei River, Crocodile River, Vaal River, Orange River, Duzi River, Umgeni River and the mighty Umzimvubu River. Our Rafting trails are great fun for everyone. We supply ARK 2 seater inflatable rafts, renowned for their safety, comfort and stability, life jackets and helmets.
River Rafting in Gauteng and North West
Impact Adventure Africa offers a River rafting experience for the whole family on a sometimes-forgotten stretch of river as it meanders down to Hartbeespoort dam. Our launch site is a mere 35 km from Johannesburg.
Daily trips are approximately 1 hour 30 min and feature 6 grade 1 and 2 rapids.
Summer launching times are 09h00, 12h00 and 15h00, Mondays to Sundays. Winter launch times are 10h00 and 14h00, Wednesday to Sundays.
Abseiling in Gauteng
Impact Adventure Africa boast with 1 of the most beautiful abseil sites you will find in Gauteng. Our friendly and professional/registered guides will ensure that you enjoy an exhilarating but safe abseiling experience.
No special skills are required. No experience is needed. There are age and weight limits that apply. Please inquire with our booking office. Descend a 22m cliff while you enjoy the breath-taking views of the River and Valleys.
Land in an inflatable 3 seater ark boat and your guide will paddle you over the river to the beach just below the picnic site.
Our abseiling excursion offers an overall enjoyable leisure outing for couples, friends or groups.
