About Us

Let’s go fishing! We are proud to announce a collaboration between Lanseria Country Estate and Sundowner Flyfishing Adventures. We have 2 well stocked dams well suited for novice and experienced sport anglers. In the winter months, Rainbow and Brown Trout (up to 2.5kg) are extremely active whilst in the summer months, Common and Grass Carp, Blou Kurper, bass and Catfish are about.

Catch and release only for trout between 1 April and 30 September, whilst thereafter catch and keep option is also available. Day fishing access is between 7am and 5pm whilst should you be staying over in our lodge you will have the benefit of being able to fishing during dusk and dawn as well.

In addition to fishing at your leisure we also offer group as well as individual fly fishing clinics. We will also be offering evening fly tying and other flyfishing related events. Please see our downloadable brochure for further information on any of the above.

Rods and fishing tackle are available for hire or purchase.
