About Us
Mankele’s main aim is to be a safe outdoor environment with a variety of activities and accommodation options for the whole family to enjoy.
Mankele is fast becoming South Africa’s favourite place to mountain bike, Self-Catering Log Cabins and Safari Tents are available or Pack your Caravan or Camping Gear and come relax in mountains for a day, week or as long as you need.
Mankele Mountain Bike Adventures is beautifully located in an indigenous forest near the Sudwala Caves and alongside the Houtbosloop River. The mixed terrain of sub-tropical forest, open grasslands, mountains, valleys and river frontage offers the perfect location for a wide variety of trails, with awesome scenery of luscious mountains, rivers, springs and breath-taking views. There is something for everyone here.
Log Cabins:
Each self-catering log cabin sleeps 8 people (1 double bed, 2 single beds and 2 bunk beds – linen provided) in 3 bedrooms. There is also a dining room, lounge, 1½ bathrooms and a fully equipped kitchen in each. The setting is ideal for sundowners on the deck, after a long hot day in the saddle. If that hasn’t cooled you down, we have 2 sparkling pools & an entertainment area that will do the trick!
Safari Tents are perfect for that perfect break, sleeps 5 and opposite the pool
Caravan and Camping Park , our sites have power and located near the pool and river.
Mountain Bike Trails are perfect for beginners and professionals
