Scheduled Game Drives

Scheduled Game drives are available daily in our 25-seater open game drive vehicles to explore the Pilanesberg National Park spanning over 55 000 hectares of rolling plains. In addition to cheetah, giraffe, antelope, and hyaena – to name but a few – you will be enthralled by Africa’s famous Big Five in their natural habitat.

Bush Walk

Our bush walk experience focuses on locating and observing the inhabitants of the Pilanesberg National Park from a different angle – on foot. Guests are accompanied by a registered guide who will share his/her extensive knowledge and experience on both fauna and flora along the various hiking trails. Excursions depart daily in the early morning.

Set out on one of the most unique and exciting journeys of your life with Mankwe Gametrackers. Here is your opportunity to safari through the spectacular landscape of the Pilanesberg National Park, situated within a 1,300 million year old extinct volcanic crater.

Spanning over 55,000 hectares of rolling plains, the landscape is as much a feature as the wildlife itself. In addition to cheetah, giraffe, antelope, and hyaena – to name but a few – you will be enthralled by Africa’s famous Big Five in their natural habitat.

Our aim with the family bushwalks is to involve all members of the family no age restriction.

The family walks will be conducted in Letsatsing game park bordering the Pilanesberg National park but still within the boundaries of Sun City. It is a 700Ha reserve with plenty of wildlife such as Wildebeest, Impala, Sable antelope and Nyala and much more not to forget about all the smaller creatures, critters and bird life.

While doing this activity one of our qualified field guides will collect the guests at the departure point and proceed to Letsatsing game park. Once in Letsatsing guests and our guide will disembark from the Game Drive vehicle and the bush walk will commence. Going as close to the animals without scaring them away or disturbing them too much. We will then also focus a bit more on the behaviour of the different animals and look at certain aspects that they leave behind like tracks, dung, and signs that we might pick up on them.

Excursion depart morning and afternoons. This is a child-friendly activity.
