One Hour High Speed Rubber Duck Cruise

This cruise is for the adventurous.

Our boat is safe but built for speed and will ride the waves as fast as you can handle it. Our boat, CAWSAW, is an 8.5m Gemini semi-rigid, with two 4-stroke 200HP Yamaha Engines. It complies with all the regulations set by the South African Maritime Safety Authority (SAMSA). The SAMSA approved safety equipment on board includes a radio, life jackets, a first aid kit and flares.

The route is determined on the day but is sure to include a visit to Duiker Island, Chapmans Peak and include some breath-taking scenery in the surrounding area. An abundance of sea life is often seen on the tour including Seals, Dolphins, Sunfish and various sea birds.

WHALE WHATCHING SAFARI

Come cruise with us on a wondrous ocean safari.

As Ocean Safaris, Hout Bay is the only licensed Whale and Dolphin operator in Hout Bay, it means that as soon as there’s a sighting of these amazing creatures, we can get you out to view them with one of our knowledgeable and informative Skippers and guide.

Dolphins regularly visit Hout Bay to feed and play. Between June and November of each year, the Southern Right Whale passes through our waters, journeying from the Cold Antarctica to calve in the warm waters around Cape Town.

The Humpback Whale also passes through, en-route to breed and calve in Mozambique and Madagascar and occasionally Bryde Whales make an appearance too.

It truly is an amazing experience and one you’ll never forget.
