Renaissance is all about making a transition from the old to the new. We showcase the mixing of restored antiques, vintage furniture, unusual decor items and soft furnishings, which provide our customers, with an interesting journey through our showroom.
Up to date fabrics, modern accessories and paint techniques can transform a tired piece of furniture into a show piece, providing that special talking point in your home.
Take modern and traditional, vintage and contemporary, they sound like strange bedfellows, but when it comes to decorating with style, the only rule is, there are no rules. Do opposites attract? We believe they do and this is very evident in the way we display and accessorise our showroom.
Renaissance, offers a full interior decorating service, including the restoration or techniquing of furniture. Our speciality is to encourage you to embrace the pieces that you already have, or love, and to update them with paint or modern fabrics. The mixing of styles, using antique furniture and painted pieces in a variety of colours, textures and patterns is often more interesting than keeping to one particular style. Our showroom has an extensive range of fabric and wallpaper samples in-store.
We carry a large stock of giftware and jewellery for weddings and special occasions and bring in Christmas decorations or Easter bunny tableware for those festive times of the year.
You can also browse through samples of up to date fabrics and wallpapers in-store. In addition to this, we stock Annie Sloan Chalk Paints, and also carry a range of specialised Dachshund gifts.
Renaissance was established in 2010 to indulge my love of reviving old things and turning them into something beautiful. What started as a hobby has grown from strength to strength with the support of our local community and the Midlands Meander traveller. Our regulars from afar are confident that our quality has continued and are comfortable in ordering a new piece online, without viewing it in-store.
We are often told by our customers that our showroom is “a jewel” in the Midlands.
