2 Hour River Rafting Experience on the Sabie River, Hazyview

There are certainly more serene ways to explore the waterways in Hazyview, but the thrill of white-water rafting as you go careering down ravines, with water spraying in your face is sure hard to beat. The Sabie River boasts more opportunities to try this high octane sport than many other rivers in the immediate surroundings that offer the chance to get wet and wild.

If you’re a beginner at this, we will ensure you thoroughly enjoy the trip. White-water rafting is categorized by a scale ranging from 1 to 6, with 1 being an easy beginners run, suitable for family trips, on the Sabie River we only launch up to class 3 or our guests, which are considered to be challenging during the raining season. It’s safe and full of excitement!!!

Where: 5 minutes from Hazyview on the Sabie road, Our base is at the popular Shiloh Coffee Estate

Launch at 09:00 or 13:00 or 16:00 (arrive 30 minutes before launch, earlier times can be requested in summer) Duration: Two hours, 4 Km River Trip

All Safety equipment is supplied ; Qualified and experienced guides will ensure you enjoy a thrilling and safe trip whilst pointing out amazing scenery, indigenous forests, fish and the occasional small crocodile basking along the river banks, soft drinks and lunch can be arranged to enjoy on the banks of the river after your river trip.

What to bring:

Sun Block and a cap are a must as well as shoes/sandals that can fasten.
