About Us

Du Bois Lodge is a delightful, thatched Lodge with comfortable accommodation situated in a 3000 Ha Reserve adjoining the Kruger National Park on the southern border (Crocodile River). The Lodge functions as a self-catering facility. Meals can be arranged on request.
General Description
The Lodge can accommodate 14 persons in 6 air-conditioned rooms with en-suite bathrooms. Each room has its own entrance and is self-contained. There is a fully equipped communal kitchen.
In-Room facilities
*All rooms are air-conditioned. *Each room has a tea/coffee station. *Bathrooms are equipped with all the necessary amenities *4 of the 6 rooms have patios. *Hairdryer available on request.
Establishment Facilities
*A small splash pool provides relief in the warm summer months. *There is a braai (BBQ) area plus braai facilities on the patios. *Laundry is done on request. *Situated in a reserve, a variety of game can be seen wandering around the Lodge. *River walks (& drives) within 200m of the Lodge.
Area info
*Close enough to the Panorama, Mozambique & Swaziland for Day Tours (all offered by the Lodge, as well as airport & hotel transfers). *Ideally situated for guests to overnight on their way to or from Mozambique. *Situated between the Crocodile Bridge Entrance Gate to Kruger (approximately 20 minutes drive) & Malelane Gate (approximately 35 minutes drive) there is easy access to the Kruger National Park. *Safaris can be arranged to Kruger - guests are collected from the Lodge. *The Reserve borders Kruger Park - the Crocodile River forms the boundary & guests can enjoy walks or drives along the boundary fence & view a wide variety of game including the Big 5!
