Relax in a casual atmosphere at Shalamanzi Lodge in spacious and neat yet affordable accommodation set in safe park-like surroundings at the foot of the Magalies Mountains. This is where bird life is abundant and vervet monkeys, bush babies and squirrels come to play.
Our facility includes five rooms. All units have private entrances, en-suite bathrooms and small kitchen areas with coffee and tea facilities, microwaves, bar fridges, toasters, kettles, fan heaters or fans, TVs with M-Net and standard SABC channels, linen, towels and suitable cutlery and crockery. Large barbecue area is available to guests. Room 1 is a double room with a king size bed which has a corner bath with an overhead shower. Room 2 is a double room with king size bed and an extra single bed and a large shower. Room 4 is a double room which has a corner bath with an overhead shower. Room 5 is family room with a shower it also has a king size bed, double bed & single bed. Room 6 is also a double room with an extra single bed and a bath and a shower.
Shalamanzi Lodge is a self-catering facility or you can visit any of our many family or exclusive restaurants in close proximity. We offer you the comfort of any of our five private units to make your stay at Hartbeespoort an unforgettable one. Hartbeespoort Dam is very popular for weekend getaways or day trips. There are many water sports and lots of interesting outings to enjoy with friends or family, such as visiting the cable way, aquarium, private zoo and snake park, croc and cheese farms or taste citrus wines and aperitifs.
For the more adventurous type there is hot-air ballooning, rock climbing, elephant riding, paragliding and lots more. The golfers are also welcome to play on any of the three high standard golf courses including the well-known Jack Nicolas Course at Peaconwood Golf Estate.
